Trailed round bale wrapper with twin wrapping arm
G5012 | Round bale wrapper
The G5012 trailed round bale wrapper is equipped with a twin wrapping arm and a bale Pick-Up . This cuts the time that is necessary to wrap the bale in half! You will save time and money especially on long workdays. The G5012 is equipped with the STANDARD program control.
Highlights
Design
The wrapper’s sturdy and solid design and workmanship guarantee a long service life. Thanks to its compact and wide design, the round baler offers particularly good performance on slopes and excellent maneuverability. In addition, its low center of gravity allows for a level of maneuverability on slopes that is second to none. The standard 380/55-17AW tires ensure uniform weight distribution and are gentle on the soil.
Rotating wrapping arm with stationary wrapping table
This system reliably prevents the bale from falling off as it is not subjected to any kind of centrifugal forces. The conveyor belts and the four rotating bale guide rollers guarantee that the bale will continually move forward and, consequently, ensure a uniform overlap of the film. When it is time to drop the bales, the mobile wrapping table is lowered all the way to the ground. This provides for a gentle deposit of the bales.
Control system
A genuine highlight is the user-friendly and easy-to-use program control STANDARD with wireless operation and electronic joystick.
Wrapping arm with film pre-stretcher
The film pre-stretcher is designed for 750-mm film rolls. The three patented plastic rollers provide for perfectly uniform stretching. What is more, the rollers are not sensitive to temperature. This saves film and guarantees tightly wrapped and airtight bales. The wrapping arm is available in two sizes – an added bonus is that the stretching unit is height-adjustable. This ensures that the bales will always be wrapped perfectly around their own center. The quick-release system makes it possible to change empty rolls quickly and effortlessly.
Automatic film cutting and holding system
The stainless steel knife guarantees that the film will be cut cleanly and precisely. At the same time, the film is fixed in place by the cutter lever. Shortly after the wrapping process begins, the standard float position ensures that the film will unwind easily.
Axle
The machine is built on an offset axle. The work position is shifted to the right, resulting in balanced weight distribution.
The advantages:
- The weight is perfectly distributed, especially when picking up bales
- The wrapper can also be towed by smaller tractors
- Stability on slopes is excellent
Control lever
The control unit and the levers come in particularly handy during maintenance and service operations. This allows all functions and processes to be carried out directly at the machine.
The operator can easily leave the program control for example, when changing the film in the tractor cab.
Film Storage
When working long days, you need to make sure that you have enough film. The film storage lets you carry along up to six rolls of film. The brackets are mounted on the drawbar. This makes it easy to load and unload the rolls of film at a comfortable working height.
Pivoting drawbar
The hydraulically adjustable pivoting drawbar ensures optimal operation during the wrapping process – bales are picked up from the front in the direction of travel and fed to the baler, and then deposited in the bale deposit at the rear. The standard lower-link hitch makes the wrapper particularly maneuverable. In tight field conditions, a small turning radius is often a decisive advantage!
Bale pick-up
The hydraulic loading arm softly grabs the bale and places it gently on the wrapping table, which is tilted backwards while the bale is being picked up.
The loading arm can be adjusted to five different positions, ensuring that it is always perfectly suited to the bale diameter. Thanks to the pivoting, ball-mounted reception tube, the bale is never pinched or damaged. It also guarantees that the bale is picked up reliably even in difficult terrain. The bale pick-up also proves to be exceptionally convenient when you need to transport two bales.
Reermann Agrarservice in action with two G-1 F125 Kombi units
A Powerful One-Two Punch in Forage Harvesting: The Reermann Agrarservice contracting firm from Brilon serves its customers with two GÖWEIL baler-wrapper combinations. Although there is a wide selection of round balers available, the service provider deliberately chose the blue machines from Austria. In this video, we’ll take a look with you at how this came about and what the technology is capable of under these demanding, continuous-use conditions. Come along and join the forage harvesting pros from the Sauerland as they go about their work!
“We decided to go with the GÖWEIL wrapper again, and this time with the baler built right in – which, from a technical standpoint, totally blew us away!”
